Practicalities
Where, when and how
In person
Open courses in Singapore run at hotels in the CBD, most recently the Marriott Tang Plaza and Hilton Singapore Orchard, with full catering. Sessions run 9am to 5pm Singapore time over two consecutive days. Bring a laptop with a recent version of Excel installed; everything else is provided.
Online
Every course also runs live online over Microsoft Teams, in the same format with the same trainers. The calendar invite shows the start time in your own time zone. Online sessions are interactive rather than recorded: you build the model alongside the trainer and can ask questions as you go.
Pricing and invoicing
Singapore courses are priced in US dollars, shown on each date above. Booking is online by card; if your organisation needs an invoice and bank transfer, send an enquiry and we will arrange it.
Groups and in-house delivery
Booking three or more people, or want a course delivered at your offices? Any course can be run privately for your team in Singapore, built around your own transactions and models. Priced per day rather than per seat, so the economics improve with every additional person in the room.

Joshua Grimm
Director, Singapore
Joshua leads the development and delivery of financial modelling training across Asia. His work covers project finance modelling for large-scale renewable energy, utilities and infrastructure projects, and corporate finance modelling for M&A transactions. He is a committee member of the IPFA Asia Future Leaders Network and hosts the team’s seminars and networking events in Singapore.
Every trainer on the programme is an active modeller. The people teaching the course are the people who audit and build models for live transactions the rest of the week.

Who are the courses designed for?
A range of experience levels, from analysts building foundational modelling skills through to experienced professionals applying best practice in project finance and infrastructure. Best Practice Project Finance Modelling is where most people begin; Advanced assumes you have completed it or have several years of modelling experience.
What do I need to bring?
A laptop with a recent version of Excel. Course files, materials and catering are provided for in-person courses; online participants receive the files in advance.
Can a course be run for my team in Singapore?
Yes. Any course can be delivered privately at your offices or online, tailored to your sector, transaction types and internal modelling standards. In-house delivery is priced per day, so it is usually the better option from about six people.
