Over the years, a surprising number of people on our financial modelling courses have not been asked to build models. They tell us they receive models from internal or external sources and need to check their integrity before they prepare the commercial analysis.
We took that feedback and worked with our model audit team to develop a course for people who need confidence in a model they did not build.
The Financial Model Review course
An effective model review helps decisions rest on evidence and an understanding of risk, and protects the integrity of the outputs. Financial Model Review gives reviewers the tools, skills and know‑how to track down errors in financial models.
It starts with the principles of a model review, then covers approaches, common mistakes and a case study for context. The course is interactive, so you can take the methods straight back to work.
Who the course is for
Anyone who needs to build, review or analyse financial models. Participants have come from corporate finance, banks, audit firms, treasury corporations and industry. Many combine it with a model build course such as Best Practice Project Finance Modelling or Financial Modelling for Renewable Energy and Battery Storage.
