In this webinar series we often discuss the financing, construction and asset management of infrastructure projects. As more long-term projects near the end of their concession, this session looks at that stage.
Infrastructure projects, including PPPs and PFIs, are long-term, complex contracts that need managing throughout their life so services stay reliable and investments stay protected. As a contract nears expiry, an orderly transition to a new concession holder is essential to avoid operational disruption, financial losses, disputes and damage to reputation. It is also the time to analyse the lessons from the current concession, so the right assumptions go into the model for the next concession and its services.
What you will learn
- How to manage a PPP, PFI or other infrastructure project as it nears the end of its concession
